Growing up in Oakland, Marcel spent countless hours captivated by the exquisite jewelry & lavish fashions at distinguished retailers such as I. Magnin, Goldmans & Emporium Capwell. With every new window display her imagination flourished. She imagined softness and glamour and working with silk and beads. Later, she explored the other side of the Bay with Sak's 5th Avenue, Nordstroms & Macy's. She began her creative career as a photographer, driven by her love of fashion. A lifelong passion for fashion, texture, and making all things pretty was born.

She loves combining materials and textures to make one of a kind jewelry & accessories. Looking at materials is one of her loves and one of her muses for creativity. She also finds inspiration upycling one-of-a-kind finds.
